Betting content is written to be trusted with people's money. This page states the standards it is held to, so they can be checked rather than assumed.
What we publish
Methodology, not picks. Guides explain how markets are priced and how to evaluate a bet. The product grades bets; the knowledge base teaches you to judge the grades, including when to disagree with them.
Numbers with their sources. Where a figure appears — a hold percentage, a key-number frequency, a correlation coefficient — it comes from the same data the engine uses, and the page says where.
The failure modes. Every model page links known limitations. Coverage pages state what is not covered as prominently as what is.
What we will not publish
- Guaranteed outcomes, "locks", or any language implying a bet is safe.
- A track record we cannot substantiate. Until the calibration ledger has enough settled bets to be meaningful, no historical performance claims appear anywhere in the product.
- Content that presents gambling as a solution to financial difficulty.
- Sportsbook rankings or recommendations influenced by commercial terms.
Review and dating
Every page carries a published date, an updated date, and where a review has taken place, a reviewed date. These are real fields validated at build time, not decoration — a page cannot ship without them.
Pages covering rules, market structure or model behaviour are reviewed when the underlying thing changes. Seasonal content is reviewed before each season.
Corrections
Errors are corrected in place. Where a correction changes the meaning of a page rather than fixing a typo, a note is added stating what was wrong and when it was fixed. Pages are not silently rewritten to look as though they were always right.
If you find an error, it is worth reporting — see accuracy and corrections.
Accuracy of automated content
The grades in the product are generated by a model, not written by hand. That model is documented in detail, its coverage is published as a matrix, and its confidence in each grade is shown alongside the grade itself.
Where the engine cannot produce a trustworthy number it says so — as THIN DATA or UNRATED — rather than filling the gap with a plausible-looking guess. That behaviour is the core editorial commitment of the whole product.
Responsible gambling
Every page carries the 21+ notice and helpline. Content is written for people choosing to bet, never to persuade someone to start, and the responsible gambling section is maintained to the same standard as everything else rather than treated as a compliance footnote.
Common questions
Who writes this content?
WeBall publishes under an organisation byline rather than individual author names. What backs the content is not a personal credential but published methodology — the model documentation, the market coverage matrix and the known-limitations page are all open for inspection.
Do you accept payment for coverage?
No sportsbook pays for placement, a rating, or a mention in a guide. If that ever changes, the how-we-make-money page changes with it, before any such content is published.
