About WeBall

We built the tool we wished existed: a real-time edge detector for college basketball that actually shows its work.

What WeBall does

WeBall is an AI-powered analytics platform for NCAA basketball betting. We pull live game data, run it through machine learning models, and compare our predictions against real sportsbook odds in real time.

When our models spot a line that looks mispriced, we flag it as an "edge" and grade it by confidence (LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH). You see the edge, the trend, how long it's been active, and a direct link to place the bet at your preferred sportsbook.

No fluff, no hot takes, no "trust me bro." Just data.

How the pipeline works

Data Ingestion

Live game feeds from ESPN, plus real-time odds from DraftKings, FanDuel, and more. Every play, every line change, every second.

ML Models

Gradient-boosted models trained on historical game data. They produce live win probabilities, spread predictions, and total projections.

Edge Detection

We compare model output against market odds continuously. When the gap exceeds our threshold, that's an edge.

Confidence Grading

Each edge gets a confidence grade based on model agreement, edge duration, trend direction, and magnitude.
